Announcements for the Week of December 6th

Childcare is provided during Sunday Masses.

Christian Education classes for the youth meet in the education wing and adults meet with Fr Yost in the library. This Sunday, Fr Yost begins a Bible study for Advent on the End Times—Will Episcopalians be Left Behind? Please join us!

The Advent wreath is given by Judy Devenport to the glory of God and in memory of Claud Devenport.

Coffee Hour is hosted this week by Stephen & Hilary Thomas.

If you have not yet returned your pledge card . . . Please do so as soon as possible! Stewardship information is available at the rear of the church or in the Parish Hall. For those who have made a pledge . . . Thank you! Contribution envelopes are available in the Parish Hall.

To help keep Advent at home, an order for the blessing of an Advent wreath and weekly devotions is available in the tract rack in the Parish Hall. Also available are a number of tracts relating to Advent and Christmas from Forward Movement Publications.

2010 Ordo Kalendars are here! These attractive calendars provide details of the feasts and fasts to be observed throughout the year along with the liturgical colors and other information. They are available for purchase in the Parish Hall or the Parish Office for $2.00 each.

A Service of Lessons & Carols for Advent will take place this Sunday, December 6th, at 5:00 pm. We will be joined by members of other Texoma-area Episcopal churches who will participate in the service.

The Rector's Bible Study continues this Wednesday at 10:45 am, following the 10 am Mass. Our study during this Year for Priests will use Sharing Christ's Priesthood by Mike Aquilina. Copies are available through the Parish Office. All are welcome to attend.

The Brotherhood of Saint Stephen's Annual "Prime Rib Feast" is Wednesday, December 9th, at 6:30 pm. Hosts are Mack Castleberry & Mack Broiles. Chef is Ed Colvin. Please sign up in the Parish Hall.

Advent Quiet Day, Saturday, December 12th, 10 am–4 pm. Meditations by the Rev'd Michael Heidt, SSC. You are welcome to attend all or part of the day. A light lunch will be served.
